Ok so if we’re being honest, this crazy shift in the world and our reality has caused most of us to be sitting at home lounging around all day. This can be a sticky situation because more sitting and less moving around isn’t always the greatest for the bum! lol.
One of my favorite ways to replace a meal is with a smoothie. I feel that smoothies are a lot less dense of a meal, and still provide tons of nutrients with fewer calories.
We use to have a NutriBullet which worked fine, but it wasn’t big enough so when we wanted to make a smoothie for multiple people, we would have to do it twice which was time-consuming. I’d say it’s best for smaller servings.
We were recently gifted a Vitamix and all I can say is WOW. The thing’s got QUITE the engine and blade. It is so heavy-duty, and just really gets the job done like I’ve never seen. It blends pretty much anything to literal perfection. It’s safe to say I’m OBSESSED.
The Vitamix came with a recipe book, and there are also a ton of recipes online. You can make legit so many things in it from hummus, smoothies, ice cream, pesto, spreads, pancake mix, soups, and SO much more. It’s amazing, easy to use, works awesome, and super easy to clean. 100% recommend investing in a Vitamix.
Here are some of my go-to favorite smoothie recipes. They’re super easy, healthy, and absolutely delicious!
